Cisco Systems to Buy Sedonasys Systems For Undisclosed Sum

12:06 PM EDT, 05/11/2021 (MT Newswires) -- Cisco Systems (CSCO) said Tuesday it has agreed to purchase Sedonasys Systems for an undisclosed sum.

The acquisition will help expand Cisco's telecommunications optical networking platform, the company said in a blog post. Sedona's NetFusion is expected to help enhance Cisco's Routed Optical Networking Solution business, it added.

In April, Sedona's NetFusion product was been added to the Cisco DevNet SolutionsPlus Program.
