Silicon Photonics for Data Communications and Consumer Health Sensing

ABSTRACT

I will present the Rockley Photonics silicon photonics platform which has been developed from the ground up to be broadly applicable to data communications, 3D imaging, and Lidar, and recently to consumer healthcare sensing. I will describe the differentiating aspects of the platform as well as some of the challenges that were overcome to make the platform realize its full potential.
