However, this certainly shows the collective lack of wisdom in "today's investor".
Somebody last friday sold this company's shares for less than $56.00 per oz. for already identified ounces (43-101 compliant) and on a fully diluted shares basis.
Given a (conservative) benchmark of $100.00 per oz. for "mineable gold in the ore", this means that because of the "length of time 'till news becomes available" somebody was willing to sell at a discount of at least 44% to the known value of the 43-101 compliant gold alone with not a single sou of value attributed to all the massive additional potential of this company and all of its other assets and properties.
This is surely a case that makes a laughingstock of the idea that the market is "perfectly efficient" when it comes to valuing company shares.
Fortunately, I still have some dry powder, and - even though already overweight in this company - this is the kind of "gift" situation that dry powder is meant for.
