Is there a downside to spinning off projects? I am just thinking Admin expenses etc etc. Would the new co's be all under the same management? If so, why not keep it under one company until one property is getting close to be sold to a mining co (if we get to that stage)? I am a little skeptical that a $5 stock can split into three co's, and have the original still worth $5, with the newbies worth something. That simply states that it was worth more than $5 to begin with.

I know at some point it will make sense but it seems very premature to my way of thinking. Either way, if you were to hold on to the new co's you benefit from future finds.

Just my 2 cents worth.
