The gentleman was making the argument that the rather tepid (to say the least) reaction to the Facebook IPO is really a very good thing for the price of gold. People who sold their gold positions to buy FB may come back to something they can actually pick up and throw at their brokers if the need arises. Perhaps risk on will be back in favour soon.
