Been wondering about this stuff myself. Is there any rules re tax loss selling if you buy the shares back agian in a adifferent acct. It would appear to sell a stock that is below water in Dec, then repurchase it for the TFSA would give us our cake and eat it too, so long as the SP doesn't change much between times.
I think there could be big tax loss selling over the next couple months. Any other opinions?
