Shorts are essential, although sometimes they go too far.....without shorting liquidity could prove a huge problem. The shares I bought under a buck, assuming longs were holding tight...I would have had to pay much more.

Without short sellers the market would likely look like a football game with both teams lined up on the same side of the ball a lot of the time....

Short interest in RVX though hardly registers....less than one half of one per cent. But with volumes grinding down to nothing again even 10 or 20K shorted can move the PPS down.
