"Are some conferences better suited for RVX to reveal the Top Line RRR %,... or any old conference will do,...?"

Cabel, see this post. We've been over this numerous times on this board. Most of the time in cardiovascular outcomes trials, the top-line data news release is simply a statement that the trial succesfully met its primary endpoint without any futher details in the top-line. Further details are later revealed (~1-4 months later) at a major scientific conference related to that field. For cardiovascular outcomes trials in diabetes, that usually means (ACC, AHA, ESC, EASD, ADA). In the case of Resverlogix and BETonMACE, I am not expecting the %RRR in the top-line data news release; instead, I am expecting that kind of detail at AHA in November. The November slate of conferences are the next ones coming up. See the link above for example top-line data news releases. Amarin bucked this trend by including their primary endpoint %RRR in their top-line; however, this is unusual.
