I agree with you. If they had lots of cash they would probably launch other trials. But they could raise the money, but they don't do it.

I think it is dangerous financial management to run a cash hungry company like RVX with little reserves of cash like they're doing right now. They don't need it to survive right now, but they're way more fragile that way.

Post-hoc analyses are not trial sucesses, I agree, but RVX is looking to get the same(ish) results than what they got in a portion of the previous trials. Let's phrase it like that: Past 5 point MACE data in diabetics in past trials makes me think 3 point MACE is going to be a success.
