But if someone could see all the blinded data  and if that data were to later show very positive results, could they not see evidence of that in the blinded data.

Especially for groups where all the patients were showing the same weakness and the placebo group should in no way show positive results, so if in the blinded data we see strong evidence of changes,... that information could possibly get out,... well before data is unblinded.
