Toinv - I think you hit the nail on the head with this sentence; Of course had he exercised some options and sold shares it certainly would have given out some alarm signals to me.  Remember a couple of years ago Dr Sweeney exercised some options and immediately sold shares to cover the purchase. It seemed like a couple of people on this board and others came unglued as a result of an insider selling a few shares. So optically it may have just been better to let them expire and be compensated in another way than to put up real money for an undetermined amount of time. I say undetermined because they may end up with another blackout right after this one, or even before this one is finished.

The drop in the number of shares that Dr Wong has is as a result of a settlement with the University of Calgary many years ago. The U of C got around 1 million shares in that settlement. I remember reading that on Stockhouse years ago around the time I first became interested in this company/technology.
