In my experience, CVD researchers view the AHA meeting as more important than the ACC. Although the addition of the WCC does complicate it, I can’t imagine any investigator pulling an AHA late-breaking presentation, quite honestly. They’re a very big deal with huge interest among attendees from around the world. Also, Don mentioned the request for an extension at the end of his presentation, immediately after referring to the Alzheimer’s meeting. He seemed to referring to the cognitive data. Let’s hope!
