What surprised me is how few drugs related to CVD are approved. Any explanation on why that is? Hardly anything for CKD either! And we all know that Dementia is batting at zero.

And this, despite the fact that heart disease remains the #1 killer in the US & Canada. CKD: terrible disease with hardly any drugs. Most approvals are for cancer.

What struck me is how few drug approvals each of the big companies gets, every year. BMS did not even get an approval for the 2 previous years...first one was in 2019! Most companies got only ONE approval...some big companies got a big fat zero.

You would imagine that these pharma companies would be lining up to buy RVX. So where is the smoke for the coming fire?
