If I was Eastern, and there was any chance of a buyout at even a low price, I would push hard for a buyout.  This has been losing money for Eastern for way too many years, and I am sure they must be sick and tired of tending to a losing position for so long.  It is like the proverbial spending 95% of your effort on that 5% of your assets that are losing you money.

To me, that suggests there is not even a low priced bid for RVX.  Strange...I would have thought that someone like LLY could toss US$1 billion at RVX and walk away with a lot of option value.
