RVXOT and palidin, I think this is an excellent point. Statistically if you run enough tests for significance you'll find significant results. The question is whether there is an underlying method or mode of biochemical processes that explains the significant results. Then at least the exploratory research has some justification. Often this is not known until after the fact if ever.

Let's hope that BoM2 trial designers are lucky in picking primary end points and the a partner with deep pockets will be able to fund that futility analysis.
