Maybe but we want to be on the same playing field as the other drugs that have been tested, at least in this trial. If the best chance of having a successful trial is recruiting early then statistically that's where we should be.

It may eventually be found that APB will assist in the recovery of long-Covid patients but for right now be as consistent with the other trials that have been done so that the comparisons are as close as possible.
