I'm a firm believer in the Ned Goodman theory that Ruf Diamond talks about. These guys are pro's at holding a stock down, bleeding the small weak investors of their holdings for cheap because they don't understand his strategy. You must have the ultimate patience and ability not to cave in as you watch others around you slowly move back into the highly speculative exploration stocks. We all know a couple like MM who have succeeded but their are lots who don't pay enough attention and Bingo, a $4.00 stock is in hours back to reality. This is how Eskay Creek Mine made Goodman and Company extremely rich when they drove the price skyward upon reaching their target holdings of control, forced out guys like Murray Pezim and with their control sold out for a fortune to Barrick. Slow and easy is Hugh's theme also. If he had his way gold wouldn't be sold but rather dividended out. Interesting theory.
