I agree with you, that it will take more than just the price of gold to make SGR worth more than what it shows today.  It will take the new 43-101 and a few good financial statements showing adequate levels of gold production and positive cashflow in order to get to where we want to be.  However, that is already underway, and we will see all that unfold in the months ahead.  When that happens, and the share price of SGR gets to where it should be, then what it gets valued at will be affected very directly by the POG.  For example, if we were expecting $5.00 in a year or so with gold at $1000, I think we may instead be looking at $8.00 if the POG hits $1500, given that all other things were equal.
