A while back, somebody here was looking for ways to invest in ag in Canada (Susan?).

Have also been searching and here is what I found:

I keep being impressed by Sprott. So much so that I am now long Sprott Resource, SCP.

They have an interesting strategy.

They are now grooming a few juniors oil & gaz and some ag.

What attracted my attention is their involvement in the farming industry. They are now sponsoring the growth of One Earth Farms Corp which will shortly become Canada’s largest fully integrated corporate farm.

The interesting aspect of it is the partneship between the private sector and First Nations. This is very early stage, but has the making of one of those novel ideas that could work wonders.

For investments in the ag in Canada other than COW this is the best I have found so far. Any others?

SCP is definately my pick for Christmas.
