The English language is very funny.....One I have never been able to figure out is exactly what is the topic lately.....

As with those that rent apartment the terms are "rentOR" and "rentEE" There are many other examples so I am asking if the term "patentee" is offset by "patentor"......If the language holds true then the "patentor" is the owner of the patent who "patented" the product and the "patentee" is the user of the patented product which would then make sense when discussing Markman hearings...etc...

Of course I don't know the legalities here but using the language in the proper sense it does explain a lot...
