there has been only one response to date that stated the defendant wanted a trial. All of the other responses or requests for extension have stated that more time was required to see if a settlement could be worked out in order to avoid a trial. If correct, these numbers are very encouraging. The things that we do not know are "How much does Edig think the settlement should be and how much do the defendants think it should be?" I hope they all settle, for obvious reasons, but we should be prepared for some of them to request a trial.
