When I send an article (link) to Fred, I never add any commentary.

Example...someone digs up a possible application for microSignet, they post the link and add their observation/opinions on why they feel as they do.

I copy/paste the link only.

My subject line reads: article of interest

If I said "hey Fred, call these people and see if they will buy a m-S license and get back to me", I'm on ignore.

A simple "article of interest" then the link...

I then get a reply...

"Thanks Joe,

Fred"

The company has stated at SHM's all emails from SH's must be saved. You are not being tossed, but not acknowedging receipt or a reply is not required.

It's that simple...
