How about purchasing a penny stock at a penny, $.01 and it then went to two cents, that's $.02.....That's a HUNDRED PERCENT INCREASE.... I apologize profusely to you if I sound obnoxious here but just because I got a 100% increase doesn't make me jump up and down for joy.... 100 shares @ $.01 cost/PPS $1.00...., New PPS $.02, value $2.00....It sounds a little different when you say "My stock just went up 100%, as opposed to saying, "I just made a whole $1.00" on my investment.

Please don't equate percentage rise with the bottom line....
