excellent point--the possibility of insider trading exists.  Options were at specific price levels.  Since the stock price has been quite low lately I do not know if they could profit from the difference but would be nice to look into.  Not aware that FF purchased any shares on the open market which shows the level of confidence he had in himself.  During the hearing Fred was careful to say that they only began seriously thinking about the BK option in the beginning of June and then it was filed a month later, covering tracks.  He also claimed that they had several potential investors with interest up until the last minute, but they wanted to invest in the tech and not be weighed down with minutia of a public company.  Claimed it cost $240,000 per year to be a public company.  $240,000 per year would have been chicken feed if the patents had been validated through the IPR process. However, if they had been invalidated his salary would have disappeared long ago. Fiduciary duty? So what happened, a new private company was organized a year prior.  You cannot make this stuff up.
