Not sure but, it was my understanding is that was merely a place holder bid to make sure it was on the record as things progressed. Not at all an indication of the value of the patents, could be more could be less.  It is also my understanding that he paid legal fees on his own and ended up in control of the patents without paying for them because of a prior agreement with Edig and the fact that FF and Edig never responded to his suit.  Think this is close to correct, do not really KNOW.  I also have no idea what the patents are actually worth in the hands of a person or company that is legitimately attempting to market them in a professional manner as opposed to what Edig's business plan was.
