If you ask where is the most beautiful glacier in Tibet? That must be Bomi. Bomi is located at the junction of the Nyainqentanglha Mountains and the Himalayas. The glacier area accounts for about one-third of the area of Bomi and enjoys the reputation of "the hometown of Tibet glaciers".
Kachin Glacier
Kachin Glacier, also known as Chaqing Glacier, is located on the southern slope of the eastern section of Nyainqentanglha, facing southeast. Kachin is the ibetan place name transliterated in Chinese characters, means "big glacier". The Kachin Glacier is 35 kilometers long and covers an area of 172 square kilometers. It is the largest oceanic glacier in my country.
Langcho Glacier
Langqiu Glacier originates from the Gangri Gabu Snow Mountain on the south bank of Palong Zangbo. It is larger than the famous Midui Glacier. Standing on National Highway 318, 40 kilometers away from the glacier, only one-tenth of it can be seen.
Zepp Glacier
Zepu Glacier is located in the middle and upper reaches of the largest tributary of Pallong Tsangpo, Bodu Tsangpo, and is a famous marine glacier.
Galungla Glacier
Galongla Glacier, entering the watershed of Medog, Galongla Snow Mountain, makes the warm and humid air from the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon insurmountable, and also stops the cold currents of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, creating a day where Medog can experience the four seasons.
Midui Glacier
Midui Glacier is located in Yupu Township, Bomi County, 103 kilometers away from the county seat and 8 kilometers away from National Highway 318. The nearest village, Midui Village, is only 2 kilometers away.
