Robert Beekhuizen, P. Eng, M. Eng, ICD.D

Chief Executive Officer, Director

Robert Beekhuizen is CEO of Athabasca Minerals Inc, and has 30+ years industry experience including prior senior executive roles with AltaGas, Granite Construction, Fluor, Husky Energy, and Flint/URS. Robert has managed and directed organizations and multi-billion dollar capital programs with responsibilities encompassing engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning & operations. His sector experience includes international and domestic ventures in Oil & Gas, Oilsands, Refining, Midstream, Power, Mining, and Infrastructure. Robert has successfully established sanction requirements for Owner and Contractor organizations at Board levels, and has been appointed to the Board of wholly-owned subsidiaries. He has successfully tendered and negotiated individual risk-based contracts of $1 billion. His expertise includes organizational development & performance management, integrated delivery of major capital programs, and contracting models that align the supply chain with a collective commitment to achieve and preserve stakeholders' value.

Robert is a registered professional engineer (APEGA), and holds BSc, B.Eng and M.Eng degrees, with graduate school specialization in Project Management. He has been a guest lecturer in Project Management, Construction Management, and Procurement (Tendering) at the University of Calgary in both the Engineering and MBA faculties. Robert received his ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Don Paulencu, CA, ICD.D

Chairman, Director

Mr. Paulencu was employed at Deloitte LLP for 39 years, and served as audit partner for the past 31 years. Mr. Paulencu served in many leadership capacities in the Edmonton office including office managing partner for 10 years, and has provided audit, accounting, tax and advisory services to both public and private companies. Mr. Paulencu has also served as audit partner for several public corporations and large privately-held corporations. Mr. Paulencu served as President of Baseball Alberta for eight years ending November, 2016; serves as Vice President with Baseball Canada and serves on two advisory Board of Directors for large privately-held companies in the real estate and manufacturing industries.

Dale Nolan, GSC

Director

Mr. Nolan is a founding director of Athabasca Minerals Inc., and has been involved in the gravel, transportation and construction business for over 35 years.

Mr. Nolan is past president of the Hopkins Group of Companies ("Hopkins"), a Lacombe, Alberta based company that incorporated in 1966. Hopkins develops gravel pits and performs custom crushing of aggregate. Hopkins has crushed for numerous counties and municipal districts throughout Alberta, and has provided services to Alberta Transportation for various road construction projects for over 50 years. Hopkins also supplies transportation services to deliver gravel and move oilfield equipment throughout Western Canada.

Mr. Nolan has served as director and president of the Alberta Sand and Gravel Association as well as director of the Alberta Roadbuilders & Heavy Construction Association.

Neil D. Manning

Director

Neil D. Manning was formerly the President, Chief Executive Officer and Board Director of Wajax Corporation for a ten-year term and prior to that he held the position of President, Chief Operating Officer and Board Director at Strongco Corporation. Mr. Manning brings over four decades of experience as an entrepreneur, investor, and executive in both private and publicly-traded companies and provides public market experience, financial and analytical expertise and capabilities.

Mr. Manning has extensive Board knowledge in the areas of Operations Management, Strategic Planning, Acquisitions and Divestitures as well as Investor Relations. In addition to Athabasca Minerals Inc., Mr. Manning currently sits on the Board for TransForce International Inc. where he also Chairs the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee.

As well, Mr. Manning was a member of the University of Alberta School of Business Advisory Council for six years and held the position of Chairman for three years. He is a graduate of the University of Alberta where he obtained his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts degrees.

Terrance Kutryk, ICD.D

Director

Terrance Kutryk was formerly President and Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Pipeline Ltd. Prior to that Mr. Kutryk had an extensive career at Husky Energy Inc. culminating as Sr. Vice President, Midstream & Refined Products where his responsibilities included global commodity marketing, trading, product distribution, logistics & storage, pipelines, cogeneration, retail /wholesale operations, and new ventures. He was also a governance committee member of Husky’s multi-billion dollar joint-venture Sunrise Energy Project.

Mr. Kutryk has also held the position of Chairman of the Board for Sultran Ltd., Pacific Coast Terminals Company Ltd. and the Canadian Energy Pipeline Association (CEPA).

In addition to Athabasca Minerals, Mr. Kutryk sits on the boards of the Alberta Petroleum Marketing Commission, Unit Electrical Engineering and VantEdge O&G, advisory boards for Crux OCM, WaterSMART Solutions, the University of Calgary’s Haskayne Centre for Advanced Supply Chain Management and Logistics, and the Schulich School of Engineering industry advisory council.

Mr. Kutryk is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Petroleum Society of Canada, CFA Institute and the Calgary Society of Financial Analysts.

Mr. Kutryk holds Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from the University of Calgary, is a graduate of the Petroleum Land Management program at Mount Royal University, and graduated with an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds designations from the Investment Dealers Association of Canada.

Tanya Finney

Director, Investor & Stakeholder Relations

Ms. Finney will play a key role in AMI’s strategic planning and investor relations functions, as well as further developing the Corporation's stakeholder relations.

Ms. Finney brings over 20 years of experience in sell side research and investor relations with a unique blend of experience in communications, capital markets, investor relations, as well as mergers and acquisitions. She has a Bachelor of Applied Communications and a Public Relations diploma. Ms. Finney is also a member of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute.

Mark Smith, MBA, P. Eng Mark Smith, MBA, P. Eng

Chief Financial Officer

Mark was most recently employed with Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets in Calgary, AB providing Investment Banking expertise within the oil and gas industry for exploration and production, midstream, oilfield services, and royalty companies. Prior to his tenure at Scotiabank, Mark was employed as a Drilling Engineer with Shell, responsible for engineering and planning for exploration drilling programs in the Duvernay.

Mark is a registered engineer with APEGA and holds an MBA from University of Oxford – Said Business School. He completed his Masters in Petroleum Engineering thesis at University of Houston on the subject of horizontal drilling in the Duvernay formation.

Dana Archibald, BSc, RPF

Chief Operating Officer

Dana Archibald is a well‐rounded safety conscious leader with extensive experience working within the Civil, Pipeline and Environmental sectors across multiple jurisdictions within Canada and the United States. Mr. Archibald was previously employed as Senior Project and Business Development Manager for Dechant Construction and Shott Earthworks Inc. Mr. Archibald was responsible for the safe and efficient development and delivery of all projects, leading a multidiscipline execution team of up to 150 hourly staff. Prior to this Mr. Archibald held positions including Supervisor Environment Projects and Senior Project Analyst with Enbridge Pipelines Inc. leading a team of environmental professionals, consultants and field staff on projects in the development, execution and reclamation phases, including the completion of Regulatory Applications for the National Energy Board and Provincially regulated projects. Mr. Archibald also previously held the position of Energy Projects Manager with Altus Group Limited and was responsible for managing employees and contractors within the Energy Projects Portfolio.

Mr. Archibald holds a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management from the University of Alberta, is a Registered Professional Forester, is Co-Chair of the Alberta Roadbuilders & Heavy Construction Association Sub-Grading Committee and is a board member of LAT60 Explore.

Jan Cerny, CA, CPA

Vice President Corporate Development & Capital Markets

Jan Cerny is responsible for Athabasca Minerals’ development of AMI Silica, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and will interface with the capital markets and investors. Mr. Cerny brings over 15 years of experience within the finance and oil and gas sectors, successfully leading a variety of transactions, including organic growth initiatives, small tactical bolt-on acquisitions and strategic billion-dollar deals.

Mr. Cerny was previously employed as Director, Corporate Development at Source Energy Services, a proppant supplier to Western Canada and held senior management positions at Flint Energy Services and BURNCO Rock Products. Mr. Cerny was also employed for over five years in Equity Research/Capital Markets covering the Canadian Oilfield Services sector as a sell-side associate at Peters & Co. and publishing analyst at Tristone Capital/Macquarie Capital.

Mr. Cerny holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary, obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 2005, and is a member of both the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta and Canada.

Ryan Lissel, P. Eng, MBA

Vice President Projects and Operations

Mr. Ryan Lissel has joined Athabasca Minerals Inc as Vice-President, Projects & New Ventures. Mr. Lissel is a registered professional engineer (APEGA), with an MBA (finance) from University of Calgary and brings 30+ years career experience in project management and capital project development across a variety of industrial sectors including Oil & Gas, Mining, Manufacturing, Materials Processing and Automation. His recent and past roles include Project Director (CEDA International), General Manager & Director of Major Projects (Wilbros Canada), and Sr. Vice-President, Integrated Services (Tarpon Energy Services).

Mr. Lissel has executed projects from $10 million to $1 billion in size during his career. He has developed and directed multi-discipline project organizations through the project lifecycle of engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction and commissioning with the requisite focus on safe delivery, environmental sustainability, quality management, tendering, contractor management, and project controls. Mr. Lissel will provide project executive oversight and management of AMI’s growing number of projects within both AMI Silica and AMI Aggregates divisions.
