I sure hope the Govt of Ecuador wakes up and realizes what they are doing to their own people by stopping all work in progress. There is no reason why they can not let work continue over the next week or two until they can meet with the employing company to determine which work projects will be shut down.

To shut the projects down and then start them back up makes no sense if there is a chance the project will be allowed to proceed ultimately !!

If they know they will shut the project down for good then it is a different situation and tehy might as well close them down .
