David Palmer, Ph.D., P.Geo.
President

A member of the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario, Dr. David Palmer has spent the last eighteen years in the exploration industry in both executive and technical roles. He is the President and Director of Probe Mines Limited, a TSX Venture Exchange-listed company, and has managed projects and conducted research for major international mining companies in South America, South Africa, India, Greenland and Scandinavia, as well as working extensively throughout Canada. His work has covered a broad range of mineral commodities, including gold, base metals, diamonds, platinum group metals, and copper/nickel deposits.

David holds a B.Sc. (Geology) degree from St. Francis Xavier University, M.Sc. and Ph.D. (Economic Geology) degrees from McGill University, and is a member of the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario. He has published scientific papers in journals such as Economic Geology and Chemical Geology.

Harry J. Hodge, B.Sc. Geology, P.Eng.
Chairman

A member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario, Mr. Hodge holds a B.Sc. from St. Francis Xavier University. With over 40 years of experience in the minerals industry, he has held numerous senior positions in mining companies, including Senior Mine Geologist, Eastern Canada, for Noranda Mines Ltd., Chief Geologist for Conwest Exploration Co. Ltd. and Manager, Minerals Division, Eastern Canada for Shell Canada Resources from 1974 to 1979. Since 1979 he has been responsible for the administration and day-to-day operation of several publicly listed companies. He is currently a director of Stroud Resources Ltd., Abitex Resources Inc., Probe Mines Limited. In addition to his membership in the APEO, Mr. Hodge is a Fellow of the Geological Association of Canada, the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, and the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada.

J. Patrick Reid
Director & Member of the Audit Committee

Patrick Reid has been associated with the Ontario Mining Association since 1984, originally as its Executive Director and recently retired as its President and CEO. From 1967 to 1984 Mr. Reid served as the MPP for the riding of Rainy River, Ontario and held various senior positions both within government and in opposition including Chairman, Public Accounts Committee, Finance and Revenue Critic for the Official Opposition, Member of the Select Committee on Guidelines for the Ombudsman, Vice Chair, Company Law, and Advisor – Canadian Comprehensive Auditing Foundation. Mr. Reid was the first president of the newly constituted Ontario Liberal party. Prior to his election to the Ontario Legislature he taught high school and was involved in the real estate and travel industry in the Lake of the Woods/Rainy Lake area. Mr. Reid holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba. He is a member of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, the John T. Ryan Safety Awards Committee, and a past member of the Executive Committee of the Toronto Branch of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (CIMM). He was awarded the CIMM fellowship in 2001 for his outstanding contribution to the Canadian mining industry and the CIMM.

John E. Hurley
Director & Chairman of the Audit Committee

Mr. Hurley is a partner in McGovern, Hurley and Cunningham LLP, a Toronto Chartered Accounting firm that he co-founded in 1980. He holds a CPA degree from the University of Illinois and received his CA designation in 1974 while articling with Price Waterhouse & Co. in Toronto. His clients include both privately held and publicly traded junior resource cos. Mr. Hurley has also served as a director to a number of publicly traded junior mining companies.

William S. Deluce
Director & Member of the Audit Committee

Mr. Deluce is the President and Chief Operating Officer of CSAE Inc., an aircraft leasing, financing and management company covering Canada and the USA, Central and South America, Africa and the Middle East. Formerly Mr. Deluce was President and CEO of C&C Yachts Limited (1985-1986), Air Ontario Inc. (1986-1991), Wingco Leasing Inc. (1988-1991), South African Express Airways (Pty) Ltd. (1992-1996), SMT Surface Modification Technologies Inc. (1998-2000) and McComas Industries International Inc. (1998-2000). He is currently a Director of St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation, CSAE Inc. and Nikron Technologies. Mr. Deluce is a former Director of Canadian Tire Corporation and South China Industries.
