Chowdah,

Think you're missing the entire point...Teck needs resources! Galore will soon be mothballed and what else is in the same area that can contribute the kind of numbers they need?

Chappy, I'm anticipating a buyout a bit less than that because Teck CEO Don Lindsay is a very shrewd deal maker. Chowdah...read more! Shrewd or not, CUU does not have to accept anything from Teck...they have first option within 120 days of the BFS. CUU can tell Teck to take a hike if they dont man up with a "reasonable" offer.

The ball is in Teck's court, and CUU know's it. Chowdah...once again do some more reading...endless amount of articles and publications - many of them posted here by longs - that state there will soon be a huge shortage of copper with an ever increasing demand from countries like India and China. Not to mention all the turmoil that has sprouted up over the past year with mining in foriegn countries...northern BC looks sweet!

If Teck declines to back-in CUU could require at least another 2-3 PP's over the next 2 years to fund the operation, and that will not bode well for the shareprice, meaning a buyout in the future will be even lower. Now it's time for a math lesson, Chowdah. Hypathetically speaking...even if CUU does have 2-3 more PP's for a few $million, the dilution will be minimal at best due to the number of outstanding shares. I feel this would be so insignificant and in the 1.5 - 2% range...believe me when I say I wont lose any sleep over that.

Buyers are like sharks.

They sense blood in the water.

They know CUU will bleed

but in a bear market, the bleeding is worse.

Enough of the fear mongoring, Chowdah! Looking at the above adjectives you're using, you are not contributing to a healthy discussion. You are attempting to scare uniformed investors and someone should remove you from agoracom...JMO

Long CUU,

911
