Great points Jay. Imo, in a few months our sp will be much higher than what it is today as we get closer to the liquidity event. Its also interesting that Teck has in the past been willing to pay much more for quality assets like Aur or Fording Coal than what many analysts thought they were worth at the time. However, both purchases have worked out well with Teck as commodity prices have since continued to rise. Imo, this shows that successful Majors like Teck don't just look at where commodity prices are now when making major investment decisions but where they are likely headed in the future. Imho, this factors alot in their investment decisions for growth and for this reason I don't think Teck will try to low ball us.
