AGORACOM NEWS FLASH

Dear Agoracom Family,

I want to thank all of you for your patience with us over the past 48 hours and apologize for what was admittedly a botched launch of our new site.

As you can see, we have reverted back to the previous version of the site while we address multiple forum functionality flaws that inexplicably made their way into the launch.

To this end:

1.We have identified 8 fundamental but easily fixable flaws that will be corrected in the coming week, so that you can continue to use the forums exactly as you've been accustomed to.

2.Additionally we will also be implementing a couple of design improvements to "tighten up" the look and feel of the forums.

Have a great Sunday, especially those of you like me that are celebrating Orthodox Easter ... As well as those of you who are also like me and mourning another Maple Leafs Game 7 exit ... Ugggh!

Sincerely,

The administrators of gold concessions and make shine like diamonds do not react after the announcement of the possible nationalization of the sector, Hugo Chavez presented as it national Head of State, in the Aló program, President.

Internal sources of the Ministry of Basic Industries and Mining (Mibam), reveal that the estatización is “an error” because according to is established in the Law of Mines the S-state proprietor of all the minerals that there are in the national territory, which are administered under the figure of the concessions.

These concessions can be revoked by certain breaches, which guarantees the possibility of returning to the country the deposit that is used illegally or to the detriment of the interests of the nation.

Taking into account the nationalization, it is - in opinion of the source an unnecessary measurement that beyond safeguard minerals drives away the possibility of investments in auriferous and diamantíferos deposits.

On the other hand, one of the excuses for the taking of this decision is the devastation that causes the small illegal mining in the river basin of the rivers Caroní, Paragua and Caura, which is being fought for some days by cash of the Armed Forces.

On a par of this situation president Chávez expressed “here the concessions cannot be given so that the mines finish to the forests, and that we have the most important paper that to play, they are a crime… How it is the forest with the operation of gold, people like crazy person, Capitalism looking for gold, that are necessary to stop it”.
