Forward Water Technologies Corporation Announces Approval For $26,000 in Funding From the Government of Canada’s CanExport SMEs Program

Forward Water Technologies Corporation. (“FWT”, Forward Water or the “Company”) (TSXV: FWTC) announced today that it has been approved for $26,000 in funding from the Government of Canada’s CanExport SMEs program.  As per CanExport’s cost sharing formula of 50:50, the Company will be matching this amount for a total of $52,000.   The funding will be used to extend business development activities to the US, UK and Europe while exploring new markets.    

 

CanExport SMEs is a program delivered by the Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) of Global Affairs Canada in partnership with the National Research Council’s Industrial Research Assistance Program  (NRC-IRAP).  It provides direct financial assistance to small and medium-sized businesses registered in Canada with international market development activities. 

 

Forward Water Technologies addresses the universal challenge of access to clean drinking water through its innovative and cost-efficient Forward Osmosis (FO) system.  FO has the potential to alleviate the global demand for fresh water and to reduce wastewater treatment and disposal.
