I do not understand what the hold up is to get the infrastructure underway. I think the Ont Gov has realy dropped the ball on this one.

The only reasons I can make out are:

1. Ont Gov has no $1B and never intended to spend it. It was all smoke and mirrors to get seats in the north. Typical Macginty move or for that matter politician move. Getting it right, when a new project is started you always get new problems never seen before unless you are biulding the same exact thing you did before. So getting it right is really a ploy to delay the project to the point where everybody loses interest or their shirt.

2. Ont Gov is locked in with deals made with Cliffs and does not want the cat out of the bag

3. Ont Gov and Gravelle are totally useless in getting anything going

4. Ont Gov does not want to deal with the FN or any mining companies

5. Liberals are only worried about getting a paycheque period and the heck with Ontario
