Message: Re: First Nations community gets into the drilling business
I think this may be the most important piece of news to come out of the ring of fire in a long time. This shouldn't be dismissed by investors as an unimportant release. It doesn't have any positive effect on our sp, however it has removed a reletively unknown aspect of first nations relations. This is implied consent (if not full approval). Its not just the jobs and investment in the community of Webequie - although those are definite pluses. This means that the village has voted, condones, is actively investing in the exploration process and stands to benefit greatly from continued exploration. Anyone who knows how quickly a native blockade or protest can bring a company to its knees should consider this news as a significant reduction in downside risk. It also, as previously mentioned, opens up a whole world of possibilities for grants and government assistance for infrastructure. Do not brush this news off.
