I got my call from the Rousseau camp before reading crazydik's posting. However, thanks to CD the thought occurs to me...

If you want to make things more difficult for the Rousseau campaign...

When you receive the call:

  1. Be sure to confirm and write down the name and company of the caller.
  2. Ask him what the specific charges are against Noront management.
  3. Ask the representative to provide the evidence that Noront had in fact spent money other than that allocated to Windfall back in 2006.
  4. When he cannot provide this evidence, advise the representative that speaking untruths could be construed as slander, and printing untruths can legally be libel, and that this applies to the caller, the caller's company, and Rousseau.
  5. Be sure to repeat the name of the caller as well as the name of his company toward the end of the conversation.
