Differences in PR are common......some companies make more effort to communicate with their shareholders. Others don't...
Depends on how much cash you have(?)... and the culture/mannerisms/strategy of a certain company. NOT talks more, FNC doesn't (not alot at least). Some just can't be bothered to go beyond the fundaments... and blow out in an emotional stir (thoughts and suggestions, and possibilities). For fear of regulatory mayhem or just because its not necessary to react on every market move.
Now if there was a leak, or something like that, and they knew about it. Then they would have to say something at the very least. But then again, i'm not sure all really do...
The Deer in the headlights remark is incorrect. If i recall, they only mention there is no material change up til now. Which is fine. They didn't have to do this. Doesn't mean they don't understand what's going on. If just means the fundaments haven't changed (on which everything is based)... Anyway, dont think too much ... enjoy for now.
