Timelines can always change.  Remember, it all depends on which access route is chosen, and my gut is saying they will follow the N/S esker. Meaning, much of the work to assess environmental concerns, road design, and logistics has already been done many times over by the likes of KWG, Noront, and Cliffs.  Surely, giving the Provincial Government  access to the stacks and stacks of data already compiled should shorten their workload and timeline till approval.  Besides, Marten Falls has no choice but to meet the Provincial Government half way on this project.

The road cannot be made exclusively for the purposes of connecting Marten Falls to the TransCanada Highway, nor should all be done without some degree of compromise on their part.  Simply put, "No compromise.  No road.". That compromise says, "YES, Marten Falls.  We will build a road to your community.  But only if you allow that same road to follow a path that allows it to continue to the Ring of Fire.  That is the deal." Therefore, IMO, the route of the road has only one option, and that is along the esker. Any other option would require as I have said before, "Reinventing the wheel", which is so, so, so unnecessary. Marten Falls will get their community road, but only if Ontario, and Canada, gets it's Ring of Fire.

Again.  No compromise.  No road....and they know it.  Plus, we have a possible change in the Federal Government to consider, so priorities may also change once that time comes.  The Ring may get the boost it needs with a new government that understands the metals market better than our current one.

TM.
