Message: I have a questions that some may be able to answer...it would be appreciated

In the Australian Financial Review, it indicates "Andrew Forrest is weighing his options after BHP gazumped his takeover bid for a Canadian nickel explorer, but could opt to remain on the register as a big shareholder."

Is it not BHP's intention of absorbing Noront into the BHP company and if it is so, how could Forrest's Wyloo keep Noront shares?

Is the plan to keep Noront as a stand alone company?

I would be a lot less pissed at this attempted take-over if I have the choice to keep my 400,000 shares and potentially benefit from the increase in value once the road goes through etc. in 4-5 years from now.

Thank you to anybody that can give me some clarification on this.
