This coalition is about 10 years too late to call out this risk and report this to the OSC. Everyone knows that Moonie has been against development from Day 1, this risk is well known, that is why Noront is a penny stock, not to mention that we see numerous news articles opposing the ring of fire.
So the question is why now? is this coalition working for BHP? did BHP pay them to "scare" the investors with this new risk so that they capitulate to this low bid?
Does this coalition think that they are helping the Neskantaga people? How does supporting to keep the First Nations in poverty with no jobs, high cost of food, high suicide rates and isolation make any sense? Let's partner with the FN's and do this the right way. Build it right and protect the environment and wildlife. Or, we let the other countries destroy Mother Earth to get at these metals and pollute the environment anyway.
Do they understand that the size of the mine and the road is minuscule compared to the size of the region? we are talking about a needle in a haystack. With proper planning, First Nations engagement in consulting and mine/road design, conservation, preservation and collaboration, everyone involved will benefit without harming the environment.
Who are these uneducated backward thinking people? We have to question their intent in raising this to the OSC at this juncture? Do they really care about Neskantaga? or are they trying to scare retail investors into selling out? or are they trying to make money from consulting for the Neskantaga?
