On the Yahoo Finance Noront forum, a number of shareholders are filing complaints with the OSC, by phone and email.   I filed one today, looking for a breakdown of how many share and % elected to 1)Retain shares 2) Cash Offer 3) No response and 4) Non-voting.   The process was confusing.  If more than 5.6% of shareholders did not Respond, ie. the gap to the required 20%, then the court should refuse the sale and Noront should redo the vote with shareholders electing to accept the offer and sell their shares.    How can the provincial government approve the sale if shareholders didn't respond with this confusing convoluted process they implemented.      If you are concerned with the process and how this went down, complain to the OSC, ASAP.  The hearing is this Friday.
