No disrespect intended but the degree of breast beating here is getting out of hand. people should get a grip on their fears.

My message is that gloominess is a self imposed state of mind created by the mistaken practice of valuing POET only by the current state of the share price. PTI fundementals are as strong as they have ever been and no one has yet established a case that they are not soI have wagered my inheritance on the hope that this technology is as disruptive as far better minds than mine say and that talented able souls have committed their proffessional skills to bringing this unique opportunity to fruition.

Patience has become an uncomfortable word on this board but management has laid out a clear time table that by the end of this year/ Q4 the processes needed to deliver POET products should be in place. The end of Q2 will be a major check point on this path and we will hear of other proof points on the way. But let no one be mistaken that we have to wait longer for commercialisation to happen and therefore for progress of the SP to occur on this basis.

No amount of histrionics and breast beating here will get POET down this much desired path, only the focus and efforts of PTI management will and think good progress is being made.

Another hope I have is that unseen work in progress with a major player is going in parallel to the VCSEL initiative which may well reveal a pleasant surprise to us all in a different time frame . I won't go through the logic again but those who wonder what our co chairmen are upto should consider whether they are nurturing an important client through their work with the TRAB which to my mind is part of the methodology of dealing with key customers/partners.

I have regrets that my enthusiasm has committed good friends to PTK who are now out of pocket but theoretically only if they stick with it there may yet be proof of financial enlightenment.
