As good as this theory sounds one thing that doesn't sit right is, why drag out the payments then? One theory of my own is the payments were broken down to coincide with certain milestones. That may be completely wrong. However I feel 26-28 million dollars should be nothing for a major company to produce for a purchase. And if you have deep pockets make the purchase. The benefit far exceeds the risk.
