Thanks Wake, MACOM is/was considered to be a competitor in our space.  Like POET, listed as component maker in the "optical systems ecosystem" slide seen on the company's presentations.  Maybe some space opening up for us!

On another note, re Mr. Lazovsky's move to Khosla Ventures, interesting background for the company founder Vinod Khosla, and quite a large and diverse portfolio of companies (mostly unknown startups but Arista Networks is included as "alumni" in the list). Probably an interesting and challenging move for DL.
