My thought process here is that there may be so much low hanging fruit that apabetalone is able to pluck off the artery walls that the liver can't keep up to the increased load it is experiencing. Is it possible that future studies will include starting these patients that are having these larger increases in ALTs at much lower doses and increasing the amount and or frequency of dosing as thier bodies are able to deal with the increased load?"

Great idea Tada. Resverlogix and the clinical crew likely know a lot more about the liver issues than has been publicly disclosed. Even from this little bit from the 2015 AGM, it seemed like they had a good idea of what might be going on.
