CS99 I am blessed living in Mexico from a food stand point. A big bunch of Kale or Swiss Chard cost .50 CAD when I return to Canada in the summer half that amount of greens cost 4.00 CAD. I get sticker shock every time. The fact is to eat nutrient dense fresh foods is cost prohibitive for many. It's crazy, food which is processed and packaged and then shipped 100's of miles is so incredibly cheap compared to farm to fork. But ya it's called economy of scale.
