I'll short through Put options. There is no ban on PUTS. In fact, I'll probably start taking some puts today, way out of the money between Jan and March.

Even my long plays on the banks was only through out of money calls and not heavy. I don't think those are going to pay off but my risk is only what I put into them so it's not going to be that bad if things don't pan out, as would appear may be the case unless the markets are just waiting for this to pass the house before showing the short term exubberance I expected.
