I am listening to members of the house debate the passage of this bill, and I am literally depressed watching the utter incompetence that 90% of the members show on all topics related to economics.

I just heard a congresswoman say how the nationalization of Fannie and Freddie was a good thing, since now the government owns the mortgages and can reset people's interest rates and principal loan amounts if they are struggling to make their payments.

I am beyond words at this point. The only silver lining is that I know they are going to drive this economy into the ground, and it is for that scenario that I have positioned my investments to benefit from.
