FINALLY-- now that they have passed the bill, we can get back to focusing on the things that really matter. Look, the DOW has just sold off over 100 points as they PASSED the thing. This bill is so insignificant in the long run, as the FED has printed over $700 billion in the last two weeks regardless of the bill.

It will be really interesting to see what happens next week if the markets keep tanking, now that they have played their trump card. The only thing left is an emergency rate cut, probably 50 bp, and if gold sells off on THAT, well, I am packing up and moving to a small island off the coast of Honduras where I have no internet access so I can wait a few years for the markets to return to rationality.
