TYHEE' DRILLING: NEWS TO COME...

http://tyheeinvestors.blogspot.com/

The last News Release (NR) from Tyhee (March 16, 2010) contained the following important information about the drilling activity at Clan Lake (please keep:

1- "First results from a 10000 metre drill program."
2- "The first six drill holes are located near the northwest portion of the Main Zone and target a gap within the gold deposit."
3- "We have now completed fifteen of the thirty three diamond drillholes."
4- "to test portions of the Clan Lake Main Zone up to 800 metres beyond the limits previously drilled."
5- "assay results to be released over the next several months"

What does it mean and what can we expect in the next few months?
Tyhee has started the drilling season and the first results have been announced:

+ Drilling has been done in the Main Zone (already known to contain 354000oz)
+ The grade is similar to the one already published by Tyhee.
+ The first 6 holes" target a gap within the gold deposit." What should be noted is the depth and the results: CL143 242M to 248.5M ....3.8G/T and 242M to 244,2M... 9.62G/T.

If the drilling announcements -in the same Main Zone- continue (and this seems to be a very reasonable bet) Tyhee should be able to confirm an increase of the resources in the Main Zone. Tyhee should be able to move the resources to a higher category, from Indicated to Measured. Measured resources are the closest ones to reserves and have the strongest value for investors.

The second very important information is the fact that Tyhee is going to drill outside the Main Zone (already known and partially drilled),. I suggest you download the PR and go to the last page (map). Select March 16 and go to page 4:
http://www.tyhee.com/investors/news_releases.php

What you see on the right side of the map (outside the Main Zone limits) are small squares with letters: C to H. These are locations of proposed drill collars. Tyhee will move from West to East, moving away from the known Main Zone. WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT? Because this is where you can find out how far the Main Zone continues and therefore how much gold is buried in the ground. In fact if drillhole drilling shows gold so far away you could potentially double the size of gold deposit at Clan Lake. This would be true if grades, depths ...are the same as the Main Zone. I do not like to speculate: First because my geological knowledge is limited and second because we do not have the complete results yet. BUT why are we invested in Tyhee? Because we believe (and the last 3 years have shown we were right!) that Tyhee is potentially holding millionS (not just TWO millions) of gold in the ground.

The drilling should continue for 4 to 6 more weeks. However Tyhee will have to shutdown for the spring break-up, the period when they cannot travel safely across the ice and/or safely land on the water. This usually takes 2 to 4 weeks depending on the local weather (temperatures, precipitation, sunshine etc.).
One important information from the PR is the the change to self-propelled ULGP drill rigs. These rigs can be moved across the ground under their own power instead of needing a helicopter to move. They're slower to move, but for short moves, such as indicated on the map, they are perfect. They can be moved any time of the day or night. They give Tyhee flexibility and I guess cheaper exploration costs.

So the drilling season should end anywhere between the beginning of May (not very likely) and the last part of June with the last results released 2 to 3 weeks later.
News should be released every 2 weeks (I expect another PR next week) with drilling results from 3 or 4 drillholes. The last ones coming at the same time as the expected PFS (fingers crossed).

The next few months should be very exciting times for Tyhee and all of us.
